DWL-800ap+ as Repeater

Okay, I have set up my Dlink DWL-800ap+ as a repeater to boost the range of
my Origo AWR-7210 Wireless ADSL Router according to the insstructions at

I also applied rev 2 firmware successfully.

However I don't seem to see any better signal strength - am I missing
something? Do I need to change any settings on the Origo router?

Is the DWL-800ap compatible with the Origo AWR-7210 router - they are both
802.11b
