DWL-650+ crashes

I have a Compaq notebook (Presario 1700) and a DWL-650+ (latest firmware and
driver).
When the notebook goes in stanby or hibernation mode, when I try to wake it
up I get a bsod about the dwl driver.
What can I do?

I have a Presario 2100, no apparent problem with DWL-650+.
Did you desactivate the Windows wireless configuration and let the Dlink
driver do the job instead?
Try it!

It could be difficult to spot the guilty part.

Could you described in more details what happen? (error messages, etc)
Is it the first time you installed this adapter?
Or did it work with no problem for some time and suddenly...
