dwl 120/e usb adaptor - software options greyed

I have just purchased a Dlink 604 \bb wireless modem/router along with
a Dlink DWL120e usb adaptor so as I can switch between a desktop and
laptop (personal / work)

The desktop runs Window's XP the laptop runs W2K the adaptor is
installed on both machines but on the XP desktop the software does not
give me the options to get to the Configurator and profile setup (they
are greyed out). Been on the Dlink FTP site updated the drivers to
the XP version but still no joy.

Work fine on the W2K laptop

Can anyone help ??

Do you have the built-in XP wireless configuration enabled or disabled? I
had a similar issue with a card. When XP configuration was enabled, the
card's configuration options were disabled.
