Duplicate Names

I have several servers with 2 nic cards in them for purposes of subnetting
backups from the regular network. I'm find that the name resolution is a big
problem. I've followed instructions on how to disable DNS from the 10.10 nic
via the registry and other settings but the servers are still complaing about
duplicate names and sometimes resolution is an issue.

The 10.10 nics are also on a seperate router from the regular 135 network.
Is there any way around this issue?

Try:

1. Check the DNS console for any residual entries for the 2nd adapter and
delete them.

2. Right click on My Network Places and select Properties. Click Advanced
and select Advanced Settings. Make sure the 'preferred' adapter is at the
top of the binding order.
