DSL Speed though a router

When I am connected to the PC directly from the DSL modem, I am getting
100mbs. When I run the DSL to the Router, it goes down to 10mbs.. I
have a Linksys EtherFast BEFSR41 V.2 Wired 4 Port Router. Any Ideas?

Could be that that automatic speed detection isn't working - try manual
configuration of the PC to force 100Mbps.

no: it's because the 100mbs indication is telling you your network card
in your PC is connected to a 100mbs device: your router. the
*internet* connection is not any faster however, as that's limited to
the speed of your internet connection, which will be an order of
magnitude lower than 10mbit.
