DSL provider with a monthly contract

I'm trying to get a reasonably priced 2 meg DSL connection but with a
monthly contract and no download limits.

Seems like lots of providers have changed (back) to yearly contracts.
I'm planning to move house within the next year so don't want to be
tied down to a 12 month contract.

And some of the providers with keen prices are bundling a telephone
service (with CPS) which I don't want.

Ideally I would like:
2 meg or above access
No download limits
Monthly contract
Want to pay less that £25 a month
Dont want any telephone line rental or calls bundled into it.

Any suggestions?

A.

BTW. I've already looked at Be with their 24meg service and 3 month
contract
but the service isn't available until December at my exchange.

Eclipse 2 meg is £29.99 pcm, it does offer a calling plan as an extra
but it's completely optional. Monthly rolling contract unless you want
the free modem and install, when it's a 12 month deal.

www.eclipse.net.uk

Well worth the extra fiver, no caps or port throttling (sneaky or
otherwise). You get what you pay for.

Freedom2surf (www.f2s.co.uk) would seem to fit your criteria. £24.99
per month (monthly contract) for uncapped 2 meg (or 8 meg if your
exchange can supply it). £50 activation fee of course.

No binary newsgroups but not many providers give those now.

Personally I'm very happy with them (so far).

Up to that point there are a few candidates

>Want to pay less that £25 a month

That's probably the "want" which makes the others difficult at the same time.

27.99 would get you 150 GB a month with Metronet PayGo S2000 (20:1) (but if
you exceeded 150 GB the cost cap is at 99.99 pounds inc VAT) They do
a 50:1 account, with an upper fee of 38.75 (from memory). They have
recently dropped from 3 months min to 1 month (thanks Phil!)

Well done that man! Might suit a friend of mine (I believe the exchange
is capable of 8000 kbps, so that should be fun!)

3 month minimum contract at £19.99 per month + vat from ourselves
www.discountadsl.co.uk which should do what you want.
