DSL Modem USB

I have recently bought a MN-500 base station for doing a
Home Networking based on 802.11b. Yesterday, when I tray
to plug in, I figured out that my modem is USB based and
the Base Station is for Ethernet port. I can´t buy
another DSL modem, ¿What kind of USH-Ethernet adapter can
use? I tray to see specification for MN-110 but it'll not
work because the plug in USB on the modem is different to
the ending of the adapter (square vs rectangle). Thanks!

You won't be able to use your MN500 to act as the router then.

You can still use the MN500 as an access point, however, you'll need to have
one of your computers stay on to provide the sharing of the internet (via
ICS or some other sharing mechanism).

If the modem is provided by your broadband provider, I'd certainly try to
get it switched. If you bought the modem, I'd still try to get it switched.

To expand a bit on what Jason has posted, the use of a USB modem - if
there's no choice to be able to get a regular modem - can be done like with
satellite services as described in this Knowledge Base article:

Remember, when you're using Internet Connection Sharing, the machine
connected to the USB modem and the "host" must always be on for the other
computer(s) to have Internet access. That computer is doing what the base
station in a regular Ethernet setup is doing - sharing the connection.
