DSL modem bridging

Hi,

If I want to enable DSL bridging on my one port router (so it gives
the WAN address out through DHCP to the device on the ethernet), will
the modem still show up in trace routes, and how do you access the
modem on the private range?

might be router specific, so best name it.

Hi Phil,

Its a Conexant chipset modem made by Dynamode. According to the manual
it gives the WAN address to the first machine that connects via DHCP.
