Hi, just curious to why all these errors and DSL drops, I mostly enjoy
ADSL at the full 8mb speeds and wondered if anyone could explain all
the errors reported in the router stats?
I was loosing sync now and again and entanet put me onto Interleaved to
try to stop it! I got a different router yesterday an ST585v6, I used
to use a netgear DG834 (with both being used wired). In the stats I now
see lots of errors (the netgear did not show this kind of error info)
and wondered if anyone could explain all this?
I also see I have been connected to the internet for 4hrs 44 mins but
the DSL connection is only 23 mins! I used to have a trouble free line
and I don't really know if it is from when I changed to enta last Sept
or something in the line is faulty.
Router is connected from BT wall extension wired from back of main
socket up to upstairs room (20 foot at most), have tried in past on
main socket, I think it was 1db better.
I am 600m from the exchange and usually connected at full 8mb speed!
Many thanks.
