Just ordered new sbc yahoo DSL service and can't get
moving on the web. I've connected to the DSL server, and
can ping sites by numerical id, but alphanumeric links
don't respond. Web browsing doesn't connect to any sites
either by numerical ip address or by text entry.

Futhermore, when I give my userid and password to their
technicians they can log in and browse just fine on their
computers, so it can't be a set-up problem on their end.

SBC hasn't been any help on this one, but insist the
problem exists on my end probably with my OS because
they've tried everything that they can and nothing is
working.

Can someone help me?
