dsclient issue

I have migrated user files from a novell server to a new
2K3 domain/server.

Problem:
Win98 PCs with the AD client cannot open or copy existing
files. I recieve "access denied" error.

Although I can create/copy new files without problem.

I have no prolbem accessing the same files as the same user
from an XP PC.

I am also able to duplicate the problem with a 95 PC and
the AD client.

I have also tried to move the files to a W2K server/Domain
with the same issue. So it apears to be an issue with the
AD client.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?
