using the 802.11G base station and laptop adapter (MN700,
and MN720 respectively)

My Toshiba Tablet connects and maintains a connection
flawlessley. But my HP laptop with the MN720 card in it
gains a connection, then loses it, and permanently. If I
pop the card out, and push it back in again, it will
mostly connect again (even at 54mpbs in good spots). But
shortly it will lose the connection.

I removed my 2.4 GHtz phone, no change. I implemented
128bit security (WAP - from NO security), no change. I'm
at a loss.

Anyone?

Check you are using the same channel on the router and the
card. Also verify the IEEE 802.1x setting (if improperly
set, it disconnects every few minutes).
