Anyone know how and where I can dig out the currently installed driver
version no. for a Linksys WMP54G wireless pci card ?
...I can't seem to find anything in Windows Home ed. these days

Right click on My Computer (on your Desktop). Click on properties. Click on
the "Hardware" tab. Click on "Device Manager" Go to Network Adapters, and
click the "+" in front of it to open it. Look for the WMP54G adapter. Right
click on it and choose properties, click on the Driver (tab) You will see a
Driver Version here, Also you may want to click on the Driver Details...
button, this will list all the drivers your card is using and the version.
Sometimes the above version number is not the same version the maker uses.

Also note that in the driver download there is normally a readme file,
generally in this file are instructions on how to find your current driver
version. Sometimes this number is the controlling software version, and not
the actual driver version.
