Driver for Telekom Teledat X130 DSL USB Modem

Does anyone know if there exists a driver for Teledat X130 DSL in
linux?
I guess not, second question how difficult is writing such a driver
for linux?
USB and DSL modems are problematic in linux is there some work done on
it by the linux distributors?
