The box says its a "excel" Wireless PCI adapter and mentions IEEE 802.11b
The card itself has a big black chip on it that says RTL8180L 37307T1 3390
TAIWAN

Anyone know what driver (preferably totally open source) I should get to
use with Mandrake 9.1?

Also, what other tools (if any) do I need to install to make my card work?

Few hours ago I posted a brief explanation about rtl8180 linux driver
installation.

In addition, I configured dhcpd, named (forward only mode), and
nat/masquerading on iptables.

Now I can surf with my win98 laptop.
