Good news for folks in Australia / New Zealand wanting to put their Linux
systems on a stable wireless LAN for CHEAP. :-)***

From Dick Smith:

DSE XH8135 802.11b PCI wireless adaptors (about NZ$69 each)

I've finally had a chance to try out the latest 'stable' version of the
GPL'd Linux drivers for this wireless adaptor.

V1.2.1 from rt2400.sourceforge.net

This driver should work with any rt2400-based card using RaLink's 802.11b
chipset.

It's been running for 48 hours now without a crash - *easily* outlasting any
previous version of the driver. Printing to the network from Mozilla
doesn't crash the system, either (as it could before - too often).

This driver now appears to be stable enough to use all day, every day.

Tested on Xandros Linux 3.0 (Debian) kernel 2.6.9. Stock kernel from the
vendor.
