Drive Mapping Vista Business

I use a Windows 2003 server for storage, in a workgroup.
Using XP Pro I have several drives mapped to folders on the server, they all
reconnect each time I logon the XP machine.

On a new Vista Business machine I mapped the same drives telling it to
remember my ID and password and reconnet each time I log on.

Howerver Vista will not reconnet each time, if I manually connect it will
stay until I re boot. Why will it not reconnect?

I have admin rights so it should reconnect?

Any ideas??
