Hi All,

My mate has three clothes shops and the 'HQ' shop (A) polls the
branch shops (B & C) to consolidate stock and sales etc.

The D-Link router at the remote branch 'B' started locking up so he
stuck a Belkin in there (of unknown background) while he ordered a
Draytek (as they are supposed to be pretty tough / reliable).

I helped him get it online and he can access the remote PC (using
PCAW) the CCTV system from A but can no longer poll, I think because
the Draytek may do something different with the simple MSoft VPN
'dialer thing (sorry, I'm a hardware engineer <g>) .

A can still set-up a VPN to C and poll ok.

I believe I can access B and set up a VPN (and ping the remote machine
and see the shares) from home?

My (and my mates A site) are on 192.168.0.x, B is on 192.168.1.x (did
work from his site A but doesn't now) and C is on 192.168.0.x (and
still works fine from A).

I think the receiving VPN thing at C is set up to allocate addresses
from 10.10.10.1>100 if that's relevant?

From my brief look around the network could use a little tidy up (i/p
address wise at least) but it was all working before the Vigor went
in?

So. Assuming the D-Link / Belkin routers didn't have much more than
some port forwarding / open ports set and they worked, what would we
need to do (or not do) in the Vigor to make it work the same please?
Is the Virgor just too complicated or have we missed something
obvious (more likely the case). ;-(

All the best and thanks for your time ..

p.s. I may be able to come up with more info required.

Go have a look at the Draytek support pages at www.seg.co.uk - lots of
useful stuff.

Thanks, I remember looking at that when I was thinking of getting a
Draytek myself but ended up with a Fritz!Box (which now I see is much
simpler) but forgot and asked here thinking it might be a generic VPN
issue.

Any road up, it looks like it was the Draytek defaults to handling the
PPP stuff, once that was turned off it was sorted.

(I can thank Devs and his 10 second Google for this:
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb_...ssthrough.html
that confirmed it).

All the best ..
