Have you considered buying it new? I assume you have looked at the usual
outlets for such kit?

Thanks .. Yes If I bought new then I would go for the "G" but there are none
in the country as far as I can see. The outlets I have tried all say they
have no real idea when stocks will arrive.

There's at least one in the country, on my desk about 2 feet away.

Bought online from the UK distributor - http://www.seg.co.uk

Even the 2600We 'b' spec are often out of stock, and since they are the best
thing since sliced bread,
you are unlikely to find a second hand one..., certainly not selling mine.

The latest firmware 2.5 on the We (and only firmware on the G) has some
issues with the WAN interface locking up when passing lots of traffic
(P2P and VNC are usual suspects). Have a look at the Draytek forums at
www.draytek.co.uk to see how many people are having these probelms, and
decide if they might apply to you. So far, there has been no word from
Draytek/SEG on if or when a fix may be available.

For me it's a big problem, and I have to reboot the router every couple
of days. OK for a £50 ebuyer router, not OK for a £150 Draytek....

If I've read what there is aright then it seems to be the opening and
closing of loads of NAT sessions that causes the problem. Might be a
memory leak in the code that does this, eventually it falls over when it
is unable to allocate more buffer space.
