TAKEN FROM THE DRAYTEK USERS FORUM:

heath: "Anyone have a Centrino notebook (Intel Pro/Wireless 2100)
working with a Vigor 2200W?

My wireless connection has worked fine for over a year with my old
laptop and a Nexus wireless PCCard.... but now with a new notebook, I
cannot get a connection for more than about 1 minute.

I have tried 40 & 128 bit WEP and also have tried it disabled. When
disabled, I get a connection found on the notebook, but shortly after
- it just drops.

I have removed the WinXP security update for WPA (as suggested in
Intel's troubleshooting) but this is a fix for dropped connections
using WEP... my connection drops even with WEP disabled. "

ralphdt:"I have a Tosh Portege R100 with Intel 2100 (builtin card) and
Draytek 2200W F/W v2.2 with the same problem.
I've resorted to using the Dlink 650 card that I used with the old
laptop.
I also have a Nokia D211 card and that doesn't work either!

I have read that Intel 2100 card doesn't work with Netgear AP either.

I have turned off XP ZWC and loaded the Intel Proset configuration
tool.
I have loaded 1.2.0.56 of the Intel 2100 driver.

The problem is that while (both the nokia and intel) cards find the
Draytek AP and get DHCP. Neither can send anything. I suspect the
problem is some incompatability between the AP and cards which may be
fixed in future firmware/driver releases.

I also haven't been able to upgrade the 2200w to v236 F/W.
I nearly forgot. The intel 2100 card has occasionally worked (after
waiting an hour) with the draytek but after a short period (1hr) would
stop receiving anything.
any suggestions or just whether someone has got this working?"

I can't help with your particular hardware, but frequent disconnects on
WinXP seems to usually be caused by "802.11x Authentication". Have you
tried disabling this? It's on the "Authentication" tab in your network
connection's properties.
