Hi All

About to order the above router as this support vpn, but looking at the
documentation I noticed it saying about forwarding ports for game playing.
At the moment on my DG814 I don't need to do this as these ports are opened
by the game, does anyone know if this will be the same for the draytek as I
have 2 pc's running medal of honour.

Thanks

Glenn

This sounds an awful lot like UPnP support to me, in which case the
Draytek does indeed support it.

I have both a 2600 and a 2600we and have not had to forward ports for
playing games (mostly bf1942) (hosting a gaming server you will have to
though obviously)

Worth pointing out that there is something about one of these two things
that is broken in 2.5 and supposedly fixed in the 2.5.1 beta firmware,
might well be uPnP.

Look at the Draytek we site download page for how to get the beta code if
it causes the OP problems.

I was going to suggest that P2P gaming where a computer behind the firewall
is a server you would and may well be what it is refering to.
