Hi,

In order to share the internet with my neighbors I'm thinking to mount a
omni antenna in the building roof, now I'm worried about this questions :

- Since the antenna will be at the top of the building, and the neighbors
including myself below rooftop level at -90º. An 8dBi omni antenna with a
bigger downtilt will be a good choice ?

- Is the rooftop level of the building the right place to put the antenna ?

thanks

Being under an omni antenna is about the worst place you can be for reception,
for you or your neighbors.

If you go to this link and click on the Omnidirectional Antenna Beamwidth
Analysis link, you can do your own coverage analysis.
