Is there such a thing as a program that will let me keep a tab on how much
download allowance I've used? I currently have an unlimited allowance but
I'm considering moving to cheaper alternative as I don't use t'net "that"
much. Links etc appreciated.

Netmeter works well and is free. Can display daily, weekly and monthly
upload and download data.

I have no doubt that others will know of something better but it does what

You can also use SNMP (s/p?) logging if your router/modem supports it but
very few commercial modems do

Downloaded and seems to do exactly what I want. Thanks to everyone who
