Has anyone seen any plans for a double double bi-quad (2 bowties)?

I have seen a quad double bi-quad, which is 4 bowties = 16db:
http://www.frars.org.uk/cgi-bin/rend...62&goback=1064
but that will be too big to fit in the weather proof box.
I have 24.5x15.0cm or 20.5x19.0cm in room to play with depending on which
way the board is placed in the case.

Cheers
Rob

Just a thought - but could you put 2 patch panel antenna together to get a
better signal?

This was my other option.
Have you seen the plans for a single patch panel antenna?
I found some photos and text(pdf file) which was in Spanish and not very
good.

Cheers

If you find a way to use two patch pahels together I would be very
interested - how would you get the signal split/combined between the two
antenna. Would you have to use careful spacing on them - multiples of
wavelength or something

The small sqare is the radiator and the larger disk is the reflector. Seems
pretty simple, but of course the devil is in the details.

I have no idea where to find the details.

Its not a patch antenna I am thinking of, it may be a sector antenna.
Its a flat pcb with rectangles cut out of about 4 places around the edge.
Think of it as 4 thinner rectangular boards (122mm x 40mm) all side by side
but each alternate board is higher than the adjacent board by about 1.5 cm.
Anyone seen this ?

Cheers

A waveguide is the rectangular aluminium tube with offset slots:
