double click on remote desktop and nothing

Hi all, One day my remote desktop stopped working after I made the
mistake of upgrading to windows service pack 3 and then it crashed my
computer so I had to do all sorts of things to get it working again...
now, when I click on the remote connection nothing happens, no pop up,
no open, no nothing. I have no idea how to troubleshoot something that
doesn't even open. Does anyone have any suggestion?

Hi - since there's no SP3 for Windows 2003 or 2008, and I can't imagine
you're talking about Windows 2000, I suspect you're in the wrong group. Try
posting in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general and provide more detail - what
"all sorts of things" means, whether you've still got SP3 installed, and
what you're trying to connect to using the RD client on your XP box.
