I want to disable my computer running windows networking 98. The reason is I
tried to setup a network so my laptop(win XP) could tie into the home
computer for internet(ethernet). Well, now microsoft office (outlook) won't
allow me to use outlook. I receive the message(setup from original
location). When I remove the drivers from netwok control panel and reboot
the computer detects them and sets it back up to network configuration. I
just want to go back to the short login. original setup. Help please!!!

Don't remove the drivers, instead disable the network card in Device
Manager.
