Hello,

I have a Linux server running Apache. Sometimes I can't view some
domains, it acts as if the server was down, but can view other domains
in the same server.

Any ideas why this might happen?

Thanks

Is the DNS lookup failing or is Apache not responding? If the domains
or the DNS entires are new it'll take some time.

A few things to narrow down:

Try:

nslookup www.domain1.com
nslookup www.domain2.com

If you have a proxy server, try the nslookup from there too.

Do these domains work if viewed on the LAN? Is this just an over the
Internet issue?

Thanks for the reply.

Apache is running and the nslookup returns the correct information.

This error only comes up sometimes to some visitors.

Thanks!
