Hi All,

What am I doing wrong here?

# cat resolv.conf
domain xxxxx.local
nameserver 192.168.255.10

#domainname
(none)

search does not work either. :-(

"domainname" reports the domain set up for NIS.
"dnsdomainname" reports the domain set up for dns, although you really
usually only need to set a search domain. Try to get dns resolution
using "host" to query another machine in your domain.
