Hi
I have setup a server with FC4 to host my domain. My friend has
another domain and want me to host it.
I have fill in ns1.mydomain.com as his nameserver, but it doesn't
work. Do i need to setup a DNS or something?
When i browse ns1.mydomain.com in the browser, it can view my domain
website.
thanks
from Peter ((E-Mail Removed))

Without a real domain and no information about what you did or did not do,
none of us would have any clue what you did wrong. You might as well be
pissing into the wind. I assume the domains are registered with an
official registrar, and not something you just made up.

Do you have a static IP and does that IP show up in a whois query for the
domains. Can an internet PC NOT on your LAN (like your friend's PC or
from dialup only) find your nameserver or dig your domain or the other,
just using public DNS?
