I have a DC with is in a 192.168.0.x subnet. In this subnet I have a router
at 192.168.0.8 connected with a remote office with a 192.168.100.x subnet
having a router at 192.168.100.8 (which is the gateway for that subnet).

On the 192.168.0.x subnet I have a firewall connecting PC to internet and
with a routing table to 192.168.100.x using 192.168.0.8 gateway. Firewall
does DHCP too.

I apologize if I was not enought clear, but I'm not so good with ASCII art

What i would like to do is the allow 192.168.100.x PC connect to domain
placed on 192.168.0.x subnet.

Does someone could point me to some documentation about how to make this?
Mant thanks.

Fabio

Assuming you can ping each other, what you need to do is making sure you have correct DNS suffix or WINS.

I agree with Bob. If you can ping the DC but not join the domain, I
think the problem will be with DNS.

To log on to the domain controller, the machine will need to be using
the DNS server on your DC (because that is where the SRV records for
netlogon are stored). It will also need to have the correct DNS suffix
configured.

How are the clients on the 192.168.0 subnet configured? Do they use the
local DNS only? They should. They should not be using the router as a DNS
relay or using the DNS server at your ISP if you are running AD.
