Hi,
I make a network with :
+ PC 1 with Windows 2003 server
+ Other Pc connected with Pc 1 with a hub
Pc 1 contain two network card : 1 to the internet (with a modem
router) and the second with the local intranet
I setup the DC in Pc 1 and make accounts and all works well but now i
want to allow some user to connect to the internet through the
connection of the server PC 1 but i don't know how to share this
connection
Any idea or links

Start | All programs | Administrative Tools | Routing and Remote Access and
set your server as a NAT server.

hi,
is not a good ideea to have on aDC 2 nics and to have access from internet
to a DC.
you can use NAT from RRAS or can use ICS.

As Dragos said, it is not a good idea to use a DC as a router. It can
cause all sorts of problems with name resolution (because the server name is
associated with two different IPs on two different NICs). If you must do it,
make sure that you disable Netbios over TCP/IP on the external NIC and also
make sure that the external IP does not register in your local DNS.

I would not try to use ICS on a DC either. Take the extra steps and set
up RRAS/NAT. You can then get your DNS working properly. You will need to
set your client to use the server for DNS (so that AD works properly) and
set your DNS to forward to a public DNS (so that your client can resolve
public URLs).

Hi - I replied to your identical post in another group. Please don't
multipost - if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost
instead, by posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups
(separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread.
Thanks :-)
