Say for instance you were going to map a network drive.
So open a foler and you click on Tools and then Map
Network Drive. Next to the "Folder:" field there is a
Browse button. Click on that. A little window comes.
Next click on "Entire Network" then "Microsoft Windows
Network" and then click on your domain (in my case the
damin is called "CAMPHILL").

Now I have 2 Domain Controllers on my network both of
which should be listed here. DC1 and DC2 is very simply
what they are called. DC2 I can see fine however, DC1 is
not listed. It is like it's invisable. I can't even see
it if I try to map a drive on DC1.

I hope this makes sense to everyone. If not, feel free to
email me at (E-Mail Removed). Any help would be
much appreciated. Thanks!

What exact error do you receive when you attempt
to map to a share on DC1 by specifying a name and
share name e.g., \\DC1\sharename?

Both the server are running 2003 Server. CAMPHILL is the
netbios name. The FQDN is camp-hill-ps.vic.gov.edu.au.

Windows 2003/2000/XP machines can map a drive from DC1
easy but it can't see it in the list.

However, when a windows 95/98 machine comes to mapping a
drive from it, it wont work. Simply says it cant find the
network drive. Win 95/98 also cant see it in the list.
