Hello, I am new in Windows 2003 Server world. I have a network and I setup my
Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition to be Domain Controler useing dcpromo
command. Now I'm waiting for CAL's for the computer inside the network. I
have a quastion. Can I menage different workgroups in the same domain? I want
every student log in into computer useing the usernames and passwords that I
setup on the server, but I need have a printer for the administrative persons
like secretary and manager. How can I do this?

Thamk you!

No.
Workgroups are "imaginary",..they are not an administrative entitiy. When
machines are made Domain Members the "workgroup" ceases to exist.

Remove all Local Accounts on the individual machines except the built in
Administrator account,...but change the password on it.

Thank you Philip. I undestood. Now I need to make separate networks, so the
adminstrative stuff can use printers and other resources, and the students
have acces only on theyr folder on the server.I gues this is made with Rights
Management wich came with the operating sistem. Thank you once again~

You don't create any networks. You just control things with the NTFS and Share
permissions.
