Hi, Does anybody know if windows 98 (first edition) will
work on a standared peer to peer network with either
Windows XP and Windoes professional?

Yes, it will work just fine. I have such a setup now.

Maybe not wirelessly...

Depends on the wireless hardware and it's requirements.
