Hello I ve being looking to make a small linux router, I believe many
people are using the linksys wireless router but it looks like it only
has 2 interfaces. I found this barebone on tiger direct and I found a
few others on ebay but not all of them have enough expansion slots.
quad cards are really expensive this box looks like it could hold 3
extra cards

The box (even when shipping is included) looks like a good deal.

I prefer a roomier case than HP or Dell use (low profile height.) Any
network cards that you would add need to physically fit in the box. Also,
if spare slots are an issue, I'd keep looking. Probably, the motherboard
has onboard video which frees a slot. It is a plus to quickly connect a
monitor to a headless box for setup or for troubleshooting.
