Does the internet connection have to be connected to the server?

I have a WRV54G which includes a broadband router. This is connected to my
modem and lets clients access internet fine. Is this OK for when i use DHCP
or does it need the Internet Connection into the Server first.

Run which ever DHCP you want,...just only run one. The one in Windows
Server is much more rich in features.

There is no such thing as an "Internet Connection into the Server",...I
don't know what you mean by that.

Or at least don't overlap the addresses they give out.

Thanks very much.. What i mean by Internet connection to the server :

INTERNET >>>>>>>>>>>>> NIC1

& 'SERVER1'
ETHERNET >>>>>>>>>>>>> NIC2
