Does BT total broadband provide a newsfeed?

I can't find out this information.

I hear of a news server at news.btinternet.com, but it is not clear
whether this still exists, nor what the relation between BT Yahoo and BT
total broadband is!

It does - outsourced from Giganews.

In terms of the actual connection - none.

Yahoo simply provide some of the bells and whistles, and content through the
web portal. If that doesn't interest you, you can forget/ignore it.

Oddly after providing an abysmal usenet service BT now uses Giganews,
probably the best feed. Simply input news.btinternet.com, you don't
need to fill in user name or password.

The newsfeed now has excellent retention and complete binary posts
