Can someone tell me what is the accepted colloquial usage of DSLAM?
Is it Dee Slam, D.S.L Am, or just D.S.L.A.M.

I Just want to bullsh... eh, I mean, sound informed should the subject come
up in conversation.

Well one of the Network Managers responsible for the broadband network
at BT prounced it 'Dizlam' in a recent phone conversation. Took me 10
minutes to work out what he was talking about!

I usually mutter it quietly and quickly, with the random pronunciation
of the day! When someone says "what was that" you just say "you know,
the DSL card in the exchange". You can even spell it out sarcastically
at this point if you want!
Usually Dee SLAM though.

"Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer" would make you sound like
you were worth fifty an hour.
