is there a patch that will stop the problem of the
interferance between the 2.4 cordless phone and the
wireless base computer config.

Try changing the channels that you are using on your router.

Alternatively, try hitting the channel button on your phone.

Software isn't going to fix the fact that the frequencies are overlapping.
