How do you cancel a Bulldog Broadband connection

As the subject says.

I've been with Bulldog for two and a half years (with not much trouble I may
add) but am now moving house.

I've never really had to contact Bulldog until now and am only now finding
out how painful it is.

I've tried phoning their customer service lines. Either on hold for more
than 15 minutes and then give up or the IVR system they
have cuts me off anyway. I emailed them and they said phone the customer
services line. How?

So how do I let them know that I am moving and I want to cancel the service?

Also I take it I have to give 30 days notice. Well if I cant get in touch
with them soon then i'll bne withing the 30 days.
So will BT cut the line off for me with Bulldog attached to it. Or will I
have to pay the line rental to BT until Bulldog cuts me off.

Dont fancy paying for the new owners Bt line or Broadband.

Any help?

A

Registered letter giving 30days (or whatever you contract says) notice of
cancelation to Bulldogs registered company address.
Most companies won't take the cancelation over the phone but require it in
writing as well. I just had to do it with NTL and they did cut me off on the
30th day!
