I frequently see errors such as below in my Netgear DG834N router logs
when I connect to Demon's (up to) 8Mbps broadband. Anybody any ideas
where the problem is, what I need to tweak or whether it's a Demon
problem? It's annoying since when these events occur the connection
stutters and drops connections to any other machines I may be
connected to? I've checked my router's settings against the info from
Demon and it all seems correct.

Thanks, Michael

Are you logging into the router admin every time you connect? You shouldn't
need to..

It seems to be dropping the line after you login, which may be perfectly
normal on a Netgear - I've only set one up and it did act a bit strangely.
Don't think it's a problem with Demon, but if you are getting frequent line
resyncs maybe something with your line.
