Hello,

How do I set up a Win98se (wired to a Actiontec GT704WG Router/DSL-Modem w
Wireless) with a wireless Dell Laptop with XP.

I had been able to access the Router using the Win98 Machine using the
Browser using 192.168.1.1, but since I added the Laptop I can't.

Win98se can still see the internet fine but not the Router anymore or the XP
Machine I added.

When I boot up it asks for the password (Changed it from Win Logon to get
this) but then says it can't find a Domain???
Do I put the Router IP there?

I don't know much about XP but it can see and access the Router both Wired
and Wireless and is set up Wireless with WPA (psk).
The XP Computer runs fine but I don't know how to get both of them on the
same workgroup/network to see eachother.

I tried setting the Workgroup on the Win98 to what I think is the default on
XP which I think is MSHOME.
But don't know enough about XP to check that.

Kevin

I have ICS installed in the Win98se machine but I don't think I have 2
Ethernet Cards as I think it suggests.
In the ZoneAlarm Firewall I see it lists 2 networks with the same IP and
subnets.
I can see the Win98se machine in the Network Neighborhoods but not the XP.
And the XP can access the internet (router) without seeing the Win98se.
