Hi All,

I am using Cent OS 4.3 (same as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, only
cheaper).

Not to ask too stupid a question, but how and where do I set my host
name?

Many thanks,

Sounds like FAQ:

http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/FAQ_71_1829.shtm

A real RHEL version would include the documentation DVD or at
least allow to download the .iso from rhn.

Cool. Thnk you

>From the FAQ above:

Issue: How do I change my hostname or the machine name?
Resolution: IP hostnames or machine names can be changed dynamically
with the command hostname and persistently by setting the HOSTNAME
environment variable in /etc/sysconfig/network.

You can also run the redhat-config-network command, click on the "DNS"
tab,
and change the "Hostname" field.
