Dear All,

How do I see the root of a netware tree?
I have a redhat box which is connected to a netware network. I can
mount the netware volumes and see the files within them so the actual
mounting works fine. My problem is that I can only see a subset of the
servers. I belong to the TE network and I cannot go to the root of the
tree. I cannot tell ncpmount what the root of the tree is.

How do I tell ncpmount what the root is? How do I access the root KING
of the netware tree? I would like to "cd" up to the root KING but I
haven't found a way of doing that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Rgds /S

What do your Novell IT guys say about this? They can change your
permissions in half-a-heartbeat, then you can make a new mount to
the root.

Novell permissions are nigh impossible to crack.

I can access and see ALL the servers (and I can go to the root) from
Windows XP using the same login as when I use ncpmount so I don't
believe permissions are the problem. I'm guessing I have to tell
ncpmount where my root is and I haven't found a way of doing this.

Am I way off, or?

Thx, /S

WTF are you talking about? One place you say you can go to root,
another place you say you can't go to root. Make up your mind.
What do you REALLY mean?
