How do I reset my RangeLAN2 Ethernet AP XR

Hell All,

I was given a Proxim RangeLAN2 AP but I do not have the IP address. Is
there a way or command to reset it to factory default using
Hyperterminal or telnet without having and IP or password?

I guess you're aware that the Proxim Rangelan2 series is frequency
hopping spread spectrum and NOT compatible with the common direct
sequence spread spectrum Wi-Fi radios.

Rangelan2 access points have a serial port to do the setup. To the
best of my knowledge, there's no reset button or tricky method of
resetting to defaults.

Go to the Proxim Knowledgebase and dig out articles number 105 and 439
for instructions for configuration via the serial port.
