Hello,
Is there a registry key to force the users (Windows 2000 Pro and XP) that
are joined to a domain, to always login to a specific domain? When a user
logs into the local machine via the Administrator account and reboot the
machine Windows defaults the login to drop down box to the local machine. I
really need to have the system default to login to the domain not the local
machine... please help.

Thanks in Advance.

I believe you can set the default domain in the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"DefaultDomainName"="MYDOMAIN"
"CachePrimaryDomain"="MYDOMAIN"

-nm

Yes, but I think that only lasts until the next time you log into a
different one (or the local machine). This registry setting ends up being
whatever the last thing that you successfully logged into. I suspect the
only real use of it is the Admin Autologon when you want to automte the
login. But I could be wrong,..if I am that's ok.

I believe you can set HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, REG_SZ "DefaultDomainName" and
"AltDefaultDomainName" to the domain name and restore these values using
machine's Startup script or user's Logoff script, or sell the users "new
account names" like username@domainname.
