How do I disable the Network logon prompt?

We just got cable internet service, and after it was
installed we began getting a Network password prompt that
we didn't get before. We can cancel it, but it keeps the
PC from fully booting, so you have to sit there while it
boots instead of just turning it on and coming back in a
minute or so. Can someone tell me how to turn this off?

Go to Control Panel | Network and set the primary network logon to
Windows Logon. Reboot, and log on with a user name and no password.
It won't ask for a logon again.
