How do I connect to Windows SBS 2003 server over the internet

I have Windows SBS 2003 server with 8 PCs connected to it on local network.
Now I need to connect & join to this domain with a PC that I have in another
town. I have ADSL at both ends. I assume i need to set up some sort of vpn
but I am a bit new to this so if someone could guide me through simply then I
would be very greatful
