You don't - you use a cable.

Then you load the driver for your interface (card).

Then you set the IP address on the card (man ifconfig).

Then you set such static routes as you may wish (man route).

And if you want to do that via redhats gui configuration tools and have
redhat set it up fro you again each time you boot from config scripts,
read RHs manual. Or run the install tool again and skip to where it asks
you for an IP address, etc.
