When do BT do the ISP change?

Tomorrow, Tuesday, BT are to switch my ISP to my new one.
How will it be done?
Do I get any warning?
Night time or day time?

Depends. If you are going from BT Wholesale to LLU (or vice-versa)
or from one LLU ISP to another, your PSTN will go dead for a short time
while they loop your
line through the different DSLAM

Your internet will stop working until you log your router on
with the new credentials.

Working hours probably

The best time to worry about these things is after they happen
and they don't work :-)

Thanks, going from Tesco.net 1 mb to Asdl24 Home 30 8 mb

OK I will make sure I not doing any thing continuous until after.
I'm planning for a working success, got all my data ready for new set up.

Largely you wont know..

just bang the new login details into your router or modem or whatever,
and wait till it comes alive.

By either re-programming a computer or moving a patch lead.
